When we started Everyday Bookkeeper, our goal was simple: help small businesses keep accurate financial records without the cost of hiring an in-house accounting team.

As we worked alongside more business owners, we noticed the same pattern over and over again.

They were receiving financial statements every month—but they didn't know what those numbers actually meant. Revenue was growing, yet cash was tight. Margins were shrinking, but no one could explain why. Reports were being delivered, but they weren't helping owners make better decisions.

That's when we realized bookkeeping alone wasn't enough.
